At City First Church, we believe that God has called us to love our neighbors, both at home and abroad. We also believe that Jesus followers around the world contribute to our faith from their global perspectives. In connection with Nazarene Missions International and our partners in Malawi and Mozambique, we give, send, and receive

Mission Teams

The focus of our international Mission Teams is building reciprocal partnerships that build God’s Kingdom around the world. For 10 years Eugene First has been supporting pastors and ministry in Malawi and Mozambique by sending teams to encourage and equip the local leaders. We partner together for kids camps, women’s conferences, worship seminars, teacher workshops and pastor training.

Our teams also come alongside local efforts to drill fresh water wells, plant churches, start micro-businesses, and assist in various construction projects for schools and churches.

Eugene First is blessed with dynamic visiting speakers, prayer support, and leadership development through the team approach.

Nazarene Compassionate Ministries

When disaster strikes, Nazarene Compassionate Ministries is quickly on the scene. By giving financially to NCM, we can impact the lives of people whose lives are changed by circumstances they cannot control.

Faith Promise Weekend

Once a year we come together as a faith family to highlight what God is doing around the world. During Faith Promise weekend, individuals and families are given the opportunity to “promise” towards mission giving during the year. A Faith Promise is a commitment made with the belief that God will provide the funds to fulfill the promise.
